Originally established in 2001 under Casper Shipping Limited and since rebranded in December, 2012 – ShipDem is a division within Casper.

The highly professional demurrage claims service is 100% independent to ship owners or ship brokers. Our aim is to remove the burden of demurrage from our principals so that they can concentrate on their main operational objectives.

We have many years of experience, handling approximately 1500 ship/barge claims per year and also around 600 claims against customers on behalf of our clients.

As a small but dedicated team, our strength is in meeting the individual needs of every client and adding value to your operations. This is really important to ShipDem and is at the heart of our business philosophy. We pride ourselves on turning around claims within a very short time period, which ensures a continued good relationship between charterer and owner.
